Medical Assistance

Medical expenses can be incredibly costly and overwhelming and it is hard to navigate the medical world without a guiding light. That is why Chicago Chesed Fund instituted a medical assistance program, helping with medical referrals and expenses.

Specifically, our fertility treatment focuses on helping couples achieve the ultimate dream of becoming parents.

Additionally, our Bright Futures program helps those with mental and habilitative health issues get referrals to doctors and programs to help them heal.

Celebrations

Chicago Chesed Fund has embraced the challenge of helping people in every stage of their lives. Simcha making can be incredibly stressful, from the dating to the wedding itself. With our Simcha Link program, as well as others, we try to alleviate as much as the emotional and financial stress as possible.

SimchaLink provides services such as matchmaking, dating advice, and resume building; as well as coverage for airfare, travel  and clothing expenses.

Our services:

Ginat Shoshana

Ginat Shoshana provides newly married couples with many of the necessary household items to begin the next chapter of their lives.

In lieu of bridal shower gifts, friends and family of a bride and groom can donate money to Ginat Shoshana which will provide the couple with a comprehensive starter package of kitchenware and housewares. A starter package includes dishes, silverware, Shabbos china, a variety of small kitchen appliances, and more. The gifts are beautifully presented to the kallah.

Second Time Around

Too much clutter? We’ll help you out. Much of the essentials that we provide families with are donated by community members like you, and donating is easy. Every week, we make pickups in local neighborhoods and collect drop-offs at our warehouse to distribute to families and individuals who can use them. So help your neighbors out!
